Chai Tea

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 15.25 US fl oz water
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 4 teabags or 4 tablespoons loose black tea
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 15.25 US fl oz semi skimmed milk

Method

Step 1

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Step 2

Add the tea bags, honey and vanilla.

Step 3

Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, ginger and nutmeg.

Step 4

Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour in the milk and bring to the boil.

Step 5

Remove from the heat; strain through a fine sieve and serve in your favorite Price & Kensington Cup and Saucer.
