The perfect combination of soft and sticky, these delicious cinnamon rolls are the best you'll ever taste.

    For the dough:
  • 600g / 6 Cups Strong White Bread Flour
  • 14g / 5tsp Dried Active Yeast
  • 75g / 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 90g / 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 275ml / 1 Cup Full Fat Milk
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Large Egg
    For the filling:
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 55g / 1/4 Cup Brown Soft Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 40g / 1/8 Cup Butter, melted
    For the frosting:
  • 60g / 8tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence

Step 1

Heat oven to 180C / 350F. Grease an Extra Large Rectangular Baking Dish. Mix the flour, yeast and granulated sugar together. Whisk the butter, vanilla, egg and milk together and combine with the dry ingredients to make a soft dough. Turn out onto a floured surface and roll out to a large rectangle.

Step 2

Mix the filling ingredients together. Spread evenly over the dough then roll it up lengthways, to form a log. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into 8 even-sized slices and pack into the prepared dish. Bake for 30-35 mins or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool.

Step 3

Sift the powdered sugar into a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Place the cream cheese and butter in the centre, pour over 2 tbsp boiling water, and stir to mix. Add a little more water until you have a drizzly consistency. Stir in the vanilla essence, then drizzle the icing over the rolls. Serve warm or cold.
