
Giant Yorkshire Puddings
The essential ingredient when recreating a traditional English roast dinner.
Ingredients
- 5oz plain flour
- 4 eggs
- 7fl oz milk
- Sunflower oil, for cooking
Step 1
Heat oven to 230°C/446°F.
Step 2
Drizzle a little sunflower oil evenly into two Non Stick 8 inch Sandwich Pans and place in the oven to heat through.
Step 3
To make the batter, pour 5oz plain flour into your Mason Cash Batter Bowl and whisk in 4 eggs until completely smooth.
Step 4
Gradually add in 7fl oz milk and carry on whisking until the batter is lump-free. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Remove the hot Sandwich Pans from the oven and evenly pour in the mixture, ensuring the hot oil does not splash.
Step 6
Place the Sandwich Pans back in the oven and leave (uninterrupted) to cook for 20-25 minutes or until the puddings have puffed up and browned.
Step 7
Serve immediately with your favourite seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, sausages and lashings of gravy.
