Zombie Bites


  • 8.8 oz. plain flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 5.3 oz. unsalted butter
  • 7.7 oz. light soft brown sugar
  • 2.6 oz. white caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 7 oz. chocolate chips
  • 5.3 oz. Icing sugar
  • 2.6 oz. butter
  • Red food colouring
  • 1 tsp milk
  • White mini marshmallows


1. Pre-heat the oven to 170°C/330°F. Grease baking sheets with butter and parchments paper.

2. Melt the butter and mix in the brown and white sugar. Once fully combined add the vanilla, egg and milk and mix until smooth.

3. Mix in the flour and baking soda and mix until fully combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

4.Roll the cookie dough into small balls and place onto a baking sheet. Ensuring the balls are 5cm apart.

5. Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes until the cookies are lightly brown. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely on the tray.

6. Meanwhile, mix together the icing sugar, butter and red food colouring until you have a light buttercream.

7. Cut the cookies in half and coat one half in the red buttercream. Add the mini marshmallows around the outside of the semi-circle and place the other half of the cookie on top. Place back in the oven for 2 minutes.

8. Repeat for all cookies and enjoy the bite!
